We are happy to announce that FolioLink subscribers with the Pro Account now have the ability to upload FLV videos with the new Image Archive cloud storage option.

In the past, the cost for storing and delivering large video files was very high and the only affordable solution was to use an advertisement driven service. Now, by using Amazon’s cloud storage with a FolioLink Pro Account, you can showcase high quality videos affordably in your FolioLink website. At this time the Nairobi II FLASH, Toledo II HTML and new San Francisco HTML designs offer support for displaying these videos.

Large video files are stored on Amazon’s cloud storage and delivered from Amazon; this new FolioLink service will not slow down or affect the speed of other FolioLink website services.

Introducing FolioLink’s newest feature: the Layered Slideshow Viewer. This cool new feature can be applied to both FLASH and HTML designs. Unlike a standard portfolio slideshow, this new feature gives subscribers the ability to link a slideshow to any image in their FolioLink website, making it easy to showcase multiple views of one piece of work. This feature is great for 3D projects, detailed views of textured images, architectural photographs, sculpture and more...

The layered slideshow viewer is now available to Premium and Pro Account subscribers using the San Francisco HTML, Toledo II HTML and Nairobi II FLASH designs. (This is a new departure for the San Francisco HTML and Toledo II HTML designs, because it incorporates FLASH into an HTML design…a FolioLink first!).

The all new San Francisco HTML design provides FolioLink Turnkey, Premium and Pro Account users with an elegant option to showcase their images. San Francisco gives the viewer an immersive experience with features such as slideshows, linked layered viewers and videos (see below).

Like other recently developed FolioLink HTML website designs, San Francisco is optimized for search engine visibility and generates a shadow iPhone or iPod presentation when viewed with those devices.
